concrete works

In this series, the author focuses on the role of the image as a complementary element to architecture; an object with a primarily aesthetic function. With this cycle, the painter implements the postulates of the Bauhaus school and constructivism.

The artist chose a concrete cladding slab as the substrate for some of his works. Panels of this type, placed on the wall, allow for the effect of a raw, industrial interior. By using them as a foundation for his paintings, the artist wanted to make it possible to combine painting with architecture, and to use images as an architectural element.

The works from the “Colors” series show colorful rings, rectangles or stripes with a non-uniform structure. These are not geometrically perfect forms, but their painterly ideation.

Hue is the main protagonist of these paintings. In the work entitled #pantone, the basic color range is her main theme.

The author has compiled most of the works from this series into diptychs and triptychs. This strengthens their architectural potential as rhythmic accents in an interior space.

The raw aesthetics of concrete are powerful... however, combining concrete with steel and light truly requires skill. The series of lamps created by Bogusławski is suitable for living rooms, lofts, elegant interiors, and industrial spaces alike. But Bogusławski's offerings are not limited to lamps; decorative elements, small items, and furniture crafted from architectural concrete are also available. Each project is distinctive and unique, showcasing the strength found in the combination of concrete and steel
